An initiative to support emerging talents

Since its creation in 2016, the Jump In program has welcomed filmmakers that were scouted by the Poitiers Film Festival with their school film in order to accompany them in the development of their first feature film.

During the Festival, Jump In proposes five days of workshops over the course of which the selected filmmakers benefit from master classes and numerous individual meetings with a dedicated team.

These workshops aim to favor exchanges that will help the participants to consolidate their ideas as well as to orient the writing process and development strategy. We also endeavor to support these filmmakers as they apply for increasingly selective programs or international funding.Jump In benefits from the support of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region as well as partnerships with the international film-writing residencies ALCA, Villa Bloch (city of Poitiers), and the Full Circle Lab Nouvelle-Aquitaine program managed by Tatino Films.
