The cinema of tomorrow and other horizons is unveiled in Poitiers.
Over a period of 8 days of effervescence, young talents from around the world, professionals, and the general public came together around school films and the Festival’s International Selection. The program had something for everyone: previews, screenings of shorts and features, debates, film lessons, cinema-sandwiches, Piou-piou screenings for children…
The author, director, and filmmaker Christophe Honoré, the special guest of the 41st Poitiers Film Festival, led the Film lesson on transmission, which is at the heart of his film Sorry Angel (Official Selection of the 71st Cannes Festival).
The Focus showcased the work of young Romanian filmmakers with the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. The perfect opportunity to discover this prestigious institution’s latest productions through a panorama of shorts and features, along with special guests.
